Future Movement rallies two days before electionsAdd to Lightbox Download
Just two days before the elections Lebanon's Future Movement (Tayyar al-Mostaqbal in Arabic) held a rally at the BIEL convention center near downtown Beirut. Future Movement is led by Saad Hariri, who is the son of the former Lebanese Prime Minister, Rafiq Hariri, who was assassinated by a car bomb in Beirut in 2005. The Future Movement is the main political party in the pro-Western March 14 coalition that currently holds a majority of power in the government. ON Sunday, 7 June 2009, March 14 will compete with the March 8 coalition, led by Hizballah, in the Lebanese general elections. ///Candidate for parliament and leader of the Future Movement Saad Hariri addresses the crowd at the BIEL convention center in Beirut.
