As Israel continued its aerial assault on the Gaza Strip for the seventh consecutive day, Lebanese and Palestinian refugees in Lebanon took to the streets of Beirut to protest the ongoing attacks. The demonstration started in Beirut's Hamra neighborhood and marched a few kilometers to the Egyptian Embassy in Lebanon where protestors were stopped from advancing by rows of barbed-wire and dozens of riot police. The demonstrators marched carrying dozens of coffins draped in black cloth representing the over 400 Palestinians killed by Israeli air strikes in Gaza. ///Demonstrators march through the streets of Beirut waving Palestinian flags to protest Israel's ongoing attacks on the Gaza Strip.
